Ban on advertising for cosmetic surgery in Belgium

The Senate has approved a proposal to ban plastic surgeons advertising.

Although the reality programs about plastic surgery peaked, there still is still a lot of  online publicity.

Private clinics put  several interventions on sale. Limburg has a private clinic which has a separate page with temporary offers.

A  mini-facelift is temporarily 2995 euro’s instead of 3900 euro’s. A breast enlargement (with an obscure brand of implants)  is 1999 euro’s. A breast enlargement with reputable implants is almost double.

A private clinic in Antwerp, gives ten percent discount on wrinkle fillers and a few hundreds on eyelid surgery.

MR Senator Tilman Dominique : "Procedures like face-lifts, liposuction and breast enlargements are no innocent treatments. They are real  procedures,  and there are some risks and chances of complications.  There are irreversible changes that doctors should explain  as something casual.
